Attend Stage Gate & Spec review meetings;
Assign and complete investigations into customer complaints;
Site point of contact for customer visits and audits (including internal audits);
Quality performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis at the relevant forums;
Audit feedback, quality issues and quality developments (i.e. legislation changes );
Measure close out of technical issues, NCs, CAPAs, Supplier issues, Hygiene, Documentation;
Maintain accreditation & liaise with DAFM on site quality issues;
Ensure production planning is compliant with legislation, standards & customer requirements;
Manage and continuously improve the entire QA Program for the site including sampling plans, policies, procedures, and specifications, focussing on robust solutions to issues raised;
Develop and instil Food Safety behaviours across the site;
Coach, develop, train and up skill employees in to enhance knowledge and understanding;
Assign team members to relevant projects, PS, meetings.
Candidates for this position must possess:
Science Degree in a relevant discipline;
5-10 years experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
A Team player with the ability to influence others at all levels in the organisation;
A coaching mindset to promote excellence of the best practice standard;
Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through team work, motivation and employee engagement;
Results-orientated with a proven record of achievement;
Excellent technical competence with the capacity to effectively analyze issues and problem solve in accordance with our CI philosophy;
A positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude;
Awareness of the requirements of the best practice Food Safety Standards, FSC 22000,BRC.
